There’s been some major changes within the major label system over the last year, with some very senior execs departing, leading to much speculation as to what projects they’ll pop back up with next. Universal Music UK’s long-serving CEO David Joseph has just announced his decision to depart… to go and study religion and theology at Kings College London. Had there been time to speculate about his next project, I suspect few would have speculated that. Though I’ve got some good YouTube recommendations for him. Anyway, here’s my CMU report on his departure memo.
